你会学到什么

With a focus on functional anatomy 人类的运动, you’ll develop in-depth knowledge of the musculoskeletal system. Students in the 程序 use biomechanics principles to analyze motion, 技能, 和 tasks 和 use what they learn to solve problems 和 generate new questions.

Strength 和 Conditioning Concentration

This is for students interested in becoming a Certified Strength 和 Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). Students are eligible to take the CSCS exam within three months prior to graduation.

Applied Research Concentration

This concentration is for those interested in completing a research project 和 gaining a solid foundation in the theory 和 practice of research.

Sports Medicine Concentration

Sports medicine deals with physical fitness 和 the treatment 和 prevention of injuries related to sports 和 exercise.

Flexible Learning Options

You can earn your biomechanics bachelor’s in 2.6 years or complete your bachelor’s a Master of Science in Athletic Training in four years through Mary’s innovative 全年校园 程序.

Advanced Degree Programs

Incoming freshmen who have displayed superior academic performance in high school 和 have been officially admitted to the University of Mary can apply for 早期的保证 to the biomechanics 程序, which many students pursue to prepare for an advanced degree 程序.

生物力学 Program Coordinator, Kinesiology Program Coordinator, Assistant Professor of Kinesiology

My passion for the study of human movement was nurtured through my personal running experience, both as an athlete 和 coach. In the educational environment, I relish the time spent engaging with students through the teaching 和 learning process. I enjoy sharing knowledge about kinematics 和 kinetics of motion as students learn to carry out quantitative 和 qualitative analyses of human movement. I am thrilled to be able to expose students to the 3D motion capture 和 force plate equipment at Mary. 最终, I am grateful for the opportunity to foster student curiosity 和 witness student growth 和 discovery.
